Thursday 11th June - we are open!

Over 200 cookies baked this week!

It has been a big day of cookie baking today - over 150 so far! Approximately another 100 tomorrow!

As there are so many cookies this week, and I usually use ground almonds in my recipe, I'm going to make a couple of these cookies nut-free as well....

So on Thursday and Friday the

🍪 Lemon & Ginger Cookie
🍪 Chocolate Chunk Cookie
🍪 Raspberry & White Chocolate Cookie
🍪 Funfetti Cookie and
🍪 Mini Cookie Bags

will all be GF/DF/Vegan and Nut Free!

I'm really excited for the Mini Cookie Bags - I've bought some baby cookie rings to bake them in so hopefully they will be a great sharer bag!

It's been a couple of weeks since our last post of 'did we keep it honest?' and it's still the number one question I get asked, so...

The short answer is - Yes!

So far, I have only had one day where I was short 50p, but the majority of the time I end up with the exact money, and sometimes I end with slightly more than expected!

I am still blown away by the reception the shed has received, and I really hope it continues!

We have had a sold out week this week, and we are back open on Thursday 11th June for our Cookie Crazy week, ahead of Bed Race day on Saturday 13th June!

Open until 4.30pm today or until sold out!

I love getting messages from customers about our bakes 🥰

I knew a long time ago that I wanted to bake treats that as many people as possible can enjoy. Even though I don't have any dietary requirements myself, I noticed it in others and wanted to make sure they weren't left out.

I know some people may choose not to buy something because it is labelled vegan or gluten-free, maybe because they think it isn't for them, perhaps thinking they may not stack up to their expectations...but when you get reviews like this, it's hard to argue!

So just in case you were in any doubt, our bakes are for everyone...and that means YOU too!

This has to be my favourite interaction today...

Two young lads on skateboard and scooter, ice blasts in hand, popping round to check out the shed!

They didn't buy anything, they were just curious ☺️ but as I popped my head out the door (they were having issues closing the shed with the latch and I could hear it in the living room), they complimented me on all my bakes and told me they thought the shed was cool!

So, if the parents of these two lads from St John's School (think they said they were in year 5) are followers of this page, please know that they made my day with their little conversation!
