Meanwhile the girls team, Helen and I, will be selling our free-range rare breed pork at Perth Farmers' Market

Although we have no markets this weekend it’s still possible to get stocked up with our amazing meat.

We have a brilliant selection of both free range pork and Kerry beef available in our farm honesty shop, easily found by typing Rootin’ and Roamin’ into google maps 😊

We would be hugely grateful and even have some special offers on in the farm shop to give you are great deal if you are looking to stock up your freezer

This Saturday marks our first hog roast of the season and we are delighted to be back at Cleish fete and classic car show.

It’s always a great day and we hope to see lots of you there

🥩Kerry Beef 🥩

We are delighted to announce we will have fresh beef again this weekend. It’s the first of our Kerry beef and it looks amazing. We can’t wait to taste it 😋

We will have a fresh selection at both stirlingfarmersmarket and Kinross Market this Saturday. Orders are now being for individual cuts of beef for collection at either market or from the farm shop. Please get in touch with any orders you might have 😊

Along side this we will be offering our ever popular 10kg beef boxes which are priced at £160. These boxes contain a selection of cuts including roasts, stew, mince, steaks, slow cook cuts and are a great way to try different cuts you wouldn’t normally buy. They are also brilliant value

Don’t get caught snoozing like our piglets tomorrow and come along and see us at perthfarmersmkt or denheadfarmproduce markets. The weather looks good till 12 so we would definitely recommend coming along early!

🐑Easter Lamb Boxes🐑

We had decided to try something a little different and offer lamb boxes for Easter

Instead of just getting a leg of lamb why not get a half of whole lamb at a really good price for Easter? 🐣

Same as last time they are priced at £230 for a whole and £120 for a half

They will be ready for collection this Saturday the 28th of March at Stirling market or at the farm shop

Or next Saturday the 4th of April either from one of our markets or from the farm shop.

🐑Lamb boxes🐑

We have 2 half lamb boxes available. These are our own Hardiston Farm grass bred lambs expertly butchered by Ian 😊

Each box contains:
2 x shoulder roasts
2x leg roasts
Shanks
Chops
Chump chops
1x rack of lamb
2 x mince

The boxes are £120 each and ready for immediate collection from our honesty shop

Please get in touch if you are interested. These can be frozen and picked up at Perth Farmers Market or Denhead Market this Saturday 😊

Piglets take two! We were delighted to find out our British lop sow Lisa has had a litter of piglets overnight 🐷 It’s one of the reasons they are our favourite breeds - excellent mothers which are happy farrowing without any assistance 😊

Now for the wait for Lucy lop’s piglets to arrive

🐷Piglets🐷

Paloma, our only Tamworth sow, had these wee cuties a few weeks ago. They are, very sensibly, staying out of the weather and snuggled up in their ark 🥰

They are still a bit unsure of Ian appearing in their ark door every morning to check on them though 😂

We hope everyone is staying warm and dry in this weather - farming in it is definitely proving a bit of a slog 🙈

Ian took advantage of the frost last week and got fresh beds to all our sows, Paloma was certainly very pleased!

The straw and the insulated arcs the live in help keep them warm during the colder months. Straw is also fab enrichment allowing them to make nests to snuggle into

We are enjoying a slower month after a manic run up to Christmas. We don’t do any markets in January but if you missing our pork and beef from your menu why don’t you pop down to our honesty shop? Until the 1st February 2026 if you spend more than £100 on freezer stock you get an amazing 20% off - the perfect excuse to fill up the freezer!
