Cakes by Tonilou Welcome to my page. I am a fully registered home baker with a 5* rating. I am Based in Anlaby/East riding of Yorkshire. I hold my Food hygene certificate.

I am completely self taught and have been in business since jan 2012 :-) x I have been making cakes since october 2010, I am 5* rated from East riding Council. All cakes are made to order to customer spec.

Following on from my previous post I still have lots available to purchase. I have a full set of square tins 6”-14 I think 🤔 larger circle tins 10”-14”, set of rectangles (3 tins) cupcake cake tin, 40 ribbons (job lot) and lots of moulds, cutters, loads of icing nozzles including the extra large flower ones, I’m contemplating selling the kmix candy stripe edition…..

Then I also have a huge bag of cupcake items, cases, sprinkles even ingredients (some new, some used) that I’d like to go to a good home. Obviously I can’t charge for the open/used stuff so just asking for a donation for Vbucks for Thomas lol 😂 it would be such a waste to throw it away as there’s so much that could be used.. just add eggs and butter and you could make soooooo many cupcakes. Please drop me a message if you’d like to be considered for this xx

Even going to be getting rid of my stainless steel work bench that has been my favourite piece of equipment ever the past 13 years 😍

Hey everyone 👋 it’s been such a long time since I’ve posted anything on here. It’s with a very heavy heart that I need to tell you that Cakesbytonilou has closed its doors 😢 I’ve been struggling with my health for years now but it’s finally got to the point where I can’t continue. It’s been a wonderful 13 years, I started from scratch with nothing and built up my business, becoming an award winning cake artist 🤩 I’ve made some amazing cakes and made amazing friends with my customers.
Soooo I will be getting rid of all of my equipment (I also have my late mother in laws cake equipment for sale) literally everything you need for your own business. So if you have ever thought about becoming your own cake boss drop me a message x It all needs to go (I don’t have any pics of my stuff but plenty of pictures of the mothers ) x

We hope you all had a wonderful Xmas and new year?
Don’t forget to get your cakes booked in nice and early 😘
Due to the decline in my health I need to ensure I have breaks in between orders and take my time with cakes (plenty of rest’s during work!)
This being said we will have less availability this year so please please please give us as much notice as possible 🥰

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all safe and well?
Just a quick one to say thank you to all our customers 🥰
And to say that we have very little availability now until the end of September 😱 we do have some weekday slots but only 1 or 2 weekend places.
It’s really important to get booked in early to secure your date. I hate turning people away and I often make myself very poorly by taking on last minute bookings x

I hope you are all keeping safe and well?
Our diary is really getting full!
So if you would like a cake from us then we recommend getting booked in sooner rather than later! Some of our cakes can take days to make, prep time, baking, crumb coating, chilling, carving, more crumb coating, more chilling not to mention icing and decorating 😲
The costs of ingredients and stock have increased massively too, we only use the best ingredients for our cakes but are trying our hardest to keep costs the same by changing suppliers, buying in bulk etc but some price increases can’t be helped.
We hope you understand and continue to support our little business.

We are booking up quickly atm so if you’ve not booked your cake in yet then please do so.
Due to my health going downhill we are currently only taking on 2 orders per week!
