Think this is the first proper cake, I've actually ever made my self.

I turn 40 on Wednesday, so I thought might as well be the starting point of being kinder to myself, this being cake!

Chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache and raspberry filling surrounded by a darker than my soul chocolate buttercream 🖤

Cake + heat + being in a chronic flare up = BAD.

The point to this post, these cakes were supposed to be a tiered cake 🙈

It's not the vision I had, but it just goes to show that even with a ton of negatives, something beautiful and positive can still be achieved!
