We do cakes for Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays, Baby Showers, Retirement and any other big event you can think of! We also can provide beautifully baked undecorated cakes, tray bakes, puddings or cupcakes just to eat as a treat or for afternoon tea! Our sourced ingredients are largely local, fair

trade or organic, we believe that the most important thing about cake is the taste, and making it look brilliant is just an added extra! Run by Abbie, mum to one year old Elia, Cakes by A Spoonful of Vintage aims to be a friendly, helpful and reasonably priced.

It's been a very hectic, busy and stressful time outside the world of cakes this month so I'm a few weeks late in posting these two makes ...
First was one tier chocolate fudge cake and one tier Dundee fruit cake, a very special 30th cake for my wonderful big sister!
Second was one tier Dundee fruit cake and one tier dairy free sponge for a 70th birthday celebration!

Forth and final course in the mental month of March complete ... wired Tulip easter cake.
