Cake making was not what I had in mind for my future career but something I found I was good at while working in a boarding school for children with special needs. The look on a child’s face when you give them something made especially for them makes everything worth it. We now have three grown up daughters, two granddaughters and a grandson. It was after making my eldest daughter's first birthday
cake that I was asked to make one for someone else and it just grew from there. City and Guilds and the odd class followed. Over the years I worked in large bakeries or specialist cake shops but always carried on making my own as well. What was a hobby soon became a full time occupation. Now, over 40 years later I work from premises on the family farm overlooking the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. All cakes are tailor made to your requirements, using the old traditional homemade recipes we all grew up with. Using only the best ingredients, as a farmer’s wife, if I can’t get fresh produce then nobody can. I deliver your cake locally free of charge but a small payment is required for further afield.
