We’ve all seen those posts, “guaranteed results in 8 weeks”, “I’ll get you to your goals quicker than any other coach” etc etc and it’s all bo****ks. And here’s why.

No those coaches aren’t bullsh*tting you, I’m sure they all are very good at their jobs and can and will get results. 📈

The problem is YOU. And if you’re suddenly feeling triggered then yeah I deffo mean you!! 😬

YOU are the problem, cos you see the post, you see the “I guarantee you results” and you think that’s exactly what you need.
So you sign up, sit back and wait for these guaranteed results……

Oh wait, did they not tell you that you actually need to out in some effort yourself??

Shock! 😮

No results are guaranteed unless you can actually do the work required to get them. And even the best most motivational coach in the world can only take a horse to water but cannot make it drink (ok so I may have just compared you to a horse but you get my jist).

The GLP-1 bubble we are in has made us all think it’s easy and doesn’t require effort, 🫧🫧
well sorry, I’m here to burst that fu**er and tell you that if you want LASTING and SUSTAINABLE fat loss results, you’re gonna have to put in the work, but oh my gosh will it be worth it!! 🤸‍♀️

This lovely lady had been working in person with me for just 8 weeks, initial goals were :
✨ improve core strength
✨get up and down from a chair with ease
✨feel fitter and stronger

And it’s not been straightforward,we’ve a number of historical injuries to work around, and recurring niggles here and there.

So we’ve started small with movements that are manageable but challenging enough, adapted where we’ve needed to and not pushed it at all.

And yet, the progress is amazing, movements that were challenging are now completed with ease, and I’m having to up my game to make her sessions more of a challenge! 🤣

Fitness levels increased massively, and as an added bonus we are already seeing fat loss and changes to body composition that weren’t even the main goal. 🔥

It just goes to show you don’t need a complete life overhaul or to go mad in the gym, small changes CONSISTENTLY are the key. 🔑

Confession time:

Yep I’ve been on holiday for 2 weeks and pretty much let ALL my daily habits slip. 🙈

Yes I’ve still got steps in, made mindful choices and been active,but all the little things I do daily, like keeping on top of my supplements,skincare,water, mindset etc, all went 100% out of the window!!

But I don’t regret a single thing, cos I’ve 2 weeks of amazing memories,and today we went straight back into normal routine as it nothing ever happened.

And that’s cos I coach myself said coach any of my clients,zero guilt, draw a line, move on and I’ve spent years building and embedding those habits so it’s easy to come back to.

Simple as that.

I’m not gonna pretend to be perfect cos life’s too short, I coach myself and my ladies for real flipping life cos that’s how it should be!

And also yes,2 weeks of sun,sea and chlorine and my hair is basically white, it’s on the list to get sorted sometime soon 😬🤣

I agree it feels like Xmas was 5 minutes ago so how the F are we thinking about summer but here we are!

Soooo if you’ve still not quite got to grips with the New Year’s resolution to get in shape, NOW is the time to get cracking.

In 10 weeks you can make a lot of difference to your fitness, mindset and how you FEEL.

Let’s just not sleep on it any longer and still be hosing u set the baggy cardi in 2027 yeah??

You’re telling the school mums “I’m being really good this week”

🥒You’re eating less
☕️You’re skipping breakfast for a coffee
🥗You’re having a few leaves for lunch and don’t even feel hungry yet
👂You’re ignoring the voice inside your head screaming at you to raise the kids snack drawer, you’re REALLY trying…..

Then by the weekend you’re exhausted and starving.

So you eat more
“Well I was good all week” 🤷‍♀️

You “treat yourself” to a takeaway you inhale and a glass of wine that turns into a bottle that turns into listening to those voices and annihilating the snack cupboard.

And then you feel guilty cos you fu**ed it so you might as well royally f**k it and the whole weekend turn into a binge fest.

Sound familiar??

What you’re calling “being good” in the week is actually just restriction which leads to binges, now it makes sense why you’re not losing fat right??

Fat loss works better when your week is:

⚖️Balanced
⚖️Consistent
⚖️Sustainable

Not extreme then chaotic.
