A limited number of hand made and royal iced christmas biscuits will be available at The Titchmarsh Christmas Fayre on Sunday 4th December at St Mary’s Church. Starts: 12:00 pm
If you’re coming to the Village Shop Christmas Fayre on Sunday, then don’t forget to wear your Christmas jumper – it could win you a prize! Throughout the event (which starts at 12 0’clock), our “Secret Style Assessor” will be mingling in the crowd to gauge who will be our “Festive Fashion Favourite” this year. The children from the school will be singing Christmas carols at around 2.30pm, after which, all jaunty jumper wearers will be invited to gather by the pulpit for the presentation of the Adult and Children’s (Under 12) prizes for the best jumper.
…but before all that, you can enjoy all the fun of the fayre, and some fabulous festive food starting with a sizzling burger from our BBQ (Beef, Venison or Veggie) with a warming cup of mulled wine (made to Julia’s original recipe). Inside you’ll find home- made cakes and mince pies, or you might prefer a Christmas Cocktail from our bar whilst you browse the best of the Christmas ranges from the Village Shop.
Santa’s sleigh will be arriving around 1.00pm to meet the children in his Bell Tower Grotto, and there are some great games to try whilst you are waiting for him to arrive… including decorating your own Christmas biscuit, or “Hook a Candy Cane”. For the grown-ups, why not try your luck in our Christmas raffle, or test your little grey cells with our Christmas Quiz?
There really is something for everyone, so come and join us this Sunday from 12 o’clock to kick off your festive season…
