I’ve made a Portokalopita this afternoon and believe me, if I could bottle up the smell in my kitchen, I would! 🧡 This super moist Greek orange cake is made with dried filo pastry, olive oil and thick Greek yoghurt, then soaked with lashings of orange syrup (with a hint of cinnamon) which it soaks up while it’s cooling down. 😋🍊 Although I’ve been making Portokalopita for years, I’ve now improved the recipe thanks to the advice from my lovely new Greek friend, Evi 🥰
