It is with a heavy heart that I have made the very difficult decision to close my business.
With the final collection date being the 28th March.
In every sense of the word, the business has been an unbelievable success and something that little me would be proud of. I think little me would also be proud of knowing when the right time to stop is.
The business has been busier than ever, which makes the decision all the more difficult. My goal was to have a business by the age of 25, which I did!! I have loved doing it for the past five years. However, the goal wasn’t to still be baking from my parents’ home. I have juggled with the idea of opening a brick-and-mortar shop, but with rising costs and taking on more responsibilities, having more time to travel, spend weekends with friends and family, and have a better work-life balance seemed like the sweeter end of the deal.
The thing I will miss the most will be the community, the friendships, and the lovely little life updates I get from you all—but what a lovely thing to have created.
I’m so very grateful for all the support, especially now, and especially to those asking if I’m okay about it all. I can’t believe how many people have been here from the very start—those who ordered their first loaf without even seeing what it looked like, and then spread the word about how good you thought the bakes were.
Thank you for being part of my life for the last five years. I have loved being part of yours. 💗
There will still be collections on the 21st and 28th March with all the favourite items on the menu to go out with an almighty bang 🤍🌸🫶🌟
