For those who don’t know, Broadstairs Farmers Market is another one of the markets we organise alongside Pitchers’ Preserves .
So as well as bringing along all the cakes, brownies, blondies and treats, we’ll also be there helping to run the market behind the scenes too 😂
We’ve got a lovely group of traders joining us, so if you’re in Broadstairs on Sunday, pop down, say hello and support some brilliant local small businesses.

Why Broadstairs Farmers Market?
What makes a great farmers market? Fantastic independent businesses? A lovely location? A welcoming atmosphere?
Absolutely! But we believe there's a little more to it than that.
At Coast & Country Markets , we believe that looking after our traders is just as important as creating a wonderful experience for our customers. And our Broadstairs Farmers Market is a perfect example of that!

Every member of our organising team is a trader too! We're not just organising markets and sending out pitch allocations — we're setting up our own stalls, braving the weather and trading alongside everyone else.
We understand the early starts, the hard work, the fantastic days and the days when you wonder why you bothered getting out of bed! 😂
That's why we put so much thought into making our markets enjoyable for everyone.

We listen to our traders, value their opinions and involve them in the bigger decisions that shape our markets.
We believe in working together, listening to ideas and making sure everyone feels heard and appreciated.
Because, as we always say, "Without our traders, we wouldn't have a market!"
🚶 No muddy pitches!
Broadstairs Farmers Market is held entirely on hardstanding. No sinking gazebo legs, soggy shoes or dragging equipment across muddy fields. A definite bonus as we head into the wetter winter months!
☕ A warm indoor café!
Somewhere to escape the cold, sit down and enjoy a well-earned cuppa. With tea and coffee available for just £2, it's a lovely little bonus for our traders and visitors alike.
🚻 Proper on-site facilities!
Convenient toilets within Pierremont Hall. It's the little things that can make a big difference to a market day!
🚗 Easy unloading and a helping hand!
Traders can unload close to their pitches before moving their vehicles. Our organising team is there to help with directions, trolleys and an extra pair of hands when needed.
📍 A fantastic location!
Set in the grounds of beautiful Pierremont Hall, right in the heart of Broadstairs. A lovely setting for customers to browse, discover independent businesses and enjoy a relaxed Sunday morning.
⏰ Short and sweet trading hours!
10am–1pm. Three hours of trading, leaving plenty of Sunday afternoon to enjoy and a little less time standing in the cold during winter!
But the thing we're most proud of isn't the location or the facilities. It's our people.
The photos we've shared aren't just of Broadstairs. They're little snapshots of our markets, our traders and the people who make Coast & Country Markets what it is.
Because although we organise several different markets, we're one big market family.
We're a happy, friendly, slightly bonkers bunch who love a laugh, a bit of banter and, most importantly, looking out for one another! 😂
We celebrate the brilliant trading days together, and on the quieter days, we're there for each other too.
We share advice, lend a hand, support each other's businesses and genuinely want to see everyone succeed.
We're not above our traders. We ARE traders. And we're all in this together.
Through the good days, the bad days, the sunshine and the sideways rain!
