Due to an increase in our workload we are looking to hire a new candidate to help out in the kitchen & pie room! Details below ⬇️

Job Description:

Here at Harry's Pantry we pride ourselves on providing our customers with good quality, homemade food. A new position has become available to help with our increasing workload.

Hours:

Mon-Fri: 6:00a.m - 2:00p.m

Saturdays 7:00a.m - 1:00p.m (on a rota basis)

Job description:

The successful candidate would be working mainly in the Kitchen & Pie Room helping with;

•Planning the days work
•preparing breakfast orders
•making & baking tray bakes
•producing pies & sausage rolls
•operating the ovens
•stock rotation and stock checking
•producing food for shop orders
•cleaning to a high standard (following food hygiene procedures)

Essential requirements:

•must be passionate about food
•have a keen eye for detail
•have a flexible working style
•be able to work as part of a small team as well as independently
•have excellent food hygiene
•be polite and well mannered
•be a good communicator

Desirable:

•have a food hygiene certificate
•have a first aid certificate
•have experience of working in a similar environment

Pay will be discussed at interview stage

What a week!

This is just a snapshot of what goes on inside our little shop on the side of Shap Road!

I really dont know how the team has managed to get all the work done this week but we have! Everyone has chipped in, got the work smashed out and not grumbled one bit!

Time to build the stock levels back up looking at the pie numbers 🙈
