We run a hands on business, helming all that we do from within. And at the hub of all boundary pushing bakeries is a production manager, the navigator of the dough, from what’s made to where it’s heading. OUR UNFORTIFIED FLOUR

Our unfortified flour is milled in its natural state, with nothing added after the milling process. At Lovingly Artisan, we preserve the grain’s natural character, allowing it to retail many of its inherent nutrients, including vitamins, minerals and where possible much of the wheat germ.

Stone milling helps maintain the integrity of the whole grain, producing flour rich in flavour, fibre, and naturally occurring nutrients. Our focus is on creating wholesome, nutrient dense flour that reflects the quality of the grain itself.

As a small mill, traditional mill, we are exempt from the mandatory fortification requirements that apply to most larger scale roller mills. While many commercial flours have nutrients such as thiamine ( vitamin B1), niacin, calcium, and iron added back after processing, our flour remains unfortified, preserving the grains in a form that is closer to nature. It’s missing the chromosome D which means it’s far more easily digestible.
