Wishing our gorgeous Grandson Elliot a very Happy 2nd Birthday as he celebrates at his party with some of his family and friends today 🎂🥳. A slightly late celebration as his actual birthday is 1st September but he was promoted to big brother on 13th August so things have been a bit busy.

I'll be a little quiet on here over the next few weeks as I enjoy spending time with our grandkiddies while they're on their school hols AND eagerly await the imminent arrival of grandbaby number 6!! I want to be on hand to help out (if needed). So cakes are on the back burner for now. However I am still here for enquiries for cakes from October. Looking forward 2027 is already busy particularly for wedding cakes so please don't leave it too late to get in touch.

Yesterday I delivered and set up this rustic 3 tier semi-naked cake for the celebration of Emily and Dan's wedding 💞. A delicious taste of something yummy to suit everyone 😋 😋 the cake flavours were vanilla, rich chocolate and carrot and orange. Emily chose artificial eucalyptus and gypsophila to decorate the cake which suited the venue perfectly.
They held their reception in the gorgeous setting of a marquee on the family farm.

Huge congratulations to Emily and Dan, I hope they had the most amazing day! 🥂❤️ x

A cream cake in a cream marquee doesn't make for good photos and I'm no expert photographer either 🙈.

Today I had the pleasure of delivering and setting up at the most stunning of venues. A first time at Silverholme Manor for me and I was blown away by it's beauty.

3 tiers comprising - vanilla, lemon and carrot and orange 😋😋 covered in white chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream.

Huge congratulations to Fi and Isaac as they celebrate today 💞

Today's cake to celebrate Lesley's special birthday 🎂🥳.

The family are holidaying up here in the Lakes. I can only apologise for the dismal weather they are having. We do live in a beautiful place but unfortunately the downside is that it's often wet 🙈.

A delicious zesty lemon sponge cake filled with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream, decorated with artificial flowers, sugar blossoms, Lindor white chocs with edible gold leaf and sprinkles 😋😋.

A hope they're all having a wonderful time celebrating 🥳 x

Today's cute christening cake for Ronnie 🥰. 8 years ago I made his sister Maisie's christening cake. I was thrilled when their grandmother Marilyn got in touch to ask if I'd make this one, there's no better compliment than having customers return especially after such a long time. I'll pop a photo of Maisie's cake in my story later.

A top tier of zesty lemon sponge filled with Sicilian lemon curd and vanilla buttercream along with a bottom tier of vanilla sponge filled with raspberry conserve and vanilla buttercream.

I hope they're having a fabulous day celebrating in the sunshine. I was beginning to think it had disappeared for good x

Today's cake for a couple celebrating a very special birthday. John and Linda are both very keen gardeners (and have a blue garden shed 😃). The cake was ordered a few months back as a surprise as they were going to be holidaying in the Lakes with their family. Not often I get cakes collected on foot but they couldn't be much nearer to me so collection was nice and handy for them.

Today I had the pleasure of delivering Megan and Daniel's cake to the Lakeside Hotel, Newby Bridge. A 2 tier cake with a rich chocolate mud cake with chocolate fudge sauce and vanilla buttercream and a zesty lemon sponge cake with Sicilian lemon curd and vanilla buttercream. The cake was covered in a creamy layer of white chocolate ganache, buttercream and a scattering of ivory pearls. The quirky toppers were provided by Megan the bride 😆. I'm so thrilled the weather has been kind to them today 💞 x
