The one where I made a mistake and almost felt like throwing the towel in 🤦🏻‍♀️….

So…. My lovely customer came to collect their cake and….. I had misread what they wanted and made a cake with the wrong flavoured sponge! 😭…. Yes, I cried- a lot! I felt so embarrassed. I apologised and apologised again then pulled my big girl pants on. 🩲

I had 4 hours to bake and construct a completely new cake….. I cried through most of it but I managed to deliver it on time. 😅

Moral of the story….. we all make mistakes. This hit me hard as I know how important cakes can be for big celebrations and I don’t like letting people down.

I didn’t need to share this disaster, but both cakes are too pretty not to share. 🩷
