A cake from a couple weeks ago that I forgot to post. This was a vanilla sponge with chocolate buttercream covered in fondant. The saddle was made from fondant as well and placed on top of a rice krispy treat hay bale.

I had the delight of making a first birthday cake last week! I loved making the little mermaid with hair that matched the lovely little girl’s hair colour! This was a dairy free vanilla sponge with strawberry jam filling! Decorated with fondant and vanilla buttercream.
