Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and Happy New Year too! πβ€οΈππ₯
Just a little post to let you all know that Iβll be having a break from the caking over the next few months.
My eldest son was unexpectedly diagnosed with Dystonia in November.
Dystonia is a complex neurological movement disorder. Iβm sure not many of you will have heard of this condition as itβs very rare - but please if you have time, please look up the condition, awareness for this condition is desperately needed!
Long story short, my son went from being a healthy, active boy to now being unable to walk with out crutches and also uses a wheelchair (for respite)
Weβve been through the ringer as a family in 2020 (which I know, most people have) but things are looking up for 2021 ππ»
We will going to London later this month to meet the specialists for this condition and Brandon will receive the best possible treatment through these amazing people!
I have decided to take a break from my cake orders as we will be doing a lot of travelling up and down to London over the coming months and time is not on my side for much else.
I will keep you all updated on how my wee beauty is doing and just want to thank everyone who has ordered from me, supported my wee business and became friends through the caking β€οΈ
You have all been fantastic and I truly want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for letting me do what I love!
Love to you all, I will be back (at some point)
And I wish you all - Aw the Best for 2021!!!
βοΈ If anyone would like to donate to Dystonia UK you can by clicking the donate now button.
We will also be doing our own fundraising later in the year with family & friends πβ€οΈ
All my love
