Lots of mixed emotions today, feeling happy, apprehensive, sad and excited, all the things a small business owner feels when they have such passion for their business they have created and are taking the next step.
Today was the last day baking at ‘The White House’ our home, before we move to our new bakery in Long Melford.
In our home kitchen where it all began just over three years ago, with my husband Spencer, my Mum and Step Dad, our little Boo and a notepad, sat around the table, jotting down ideas of how to get me back into society after the hard few years I experienced during covid.
I never ever dreamt in a million years this is where my journey would be taking me after starting Boo’s Barking Bakery, moving out of the house
to a bakery to progress the business.
I am definitely looking forward to having more space, bigger mixers, more ovens to keep up with the baking whilst still providing your pooches with the most healthiest, good quality treats that you have built to trust over the last 3 years.
It has been a tough year personally, losing our girls especially with the business being all about our little Boo, but it is also a comfort that her legacy will live on and so many knew all about her and how special she was to us. Thank you for waiting that little longer at times for orders or products to come back in stock whilst I’ve got to grips with our new normal and thank you for continuing to support my little business and follow the journey with me.
We will be moving the bakery next week and getting ready in the meantime, so please bear with me if I am a little slower at replying, I am still catching up with emails and messages since returning from our holiday, I haven’t forgot, I hope to get back to you over the next day or two 🐾💕
I do have some more exciting news on the way, but I will leave you with that for now 🤣
