BID Member Spotlight w/ ⤵

A new arrival on West High Street has brought one of Scotland’s longest-established Highlandwear names into the heart of Inverurie.

McCalls of Inverurie is the newest store from McCalls Highlandwear, extending a story that began in Aberdeen in 1887 and bringing nearly 140 years of heritage, craftsmanship and specialist knowledge directly to customers across the Garioch and wider Aberdeenshire area.

For Inverurie, it is an addition that feels particularly well suited to the town. Weddings, ceilidhs, graduations, formal occasions and family celebrations remain an important part of life across the North East, while Highland dress continues to carry meaning well beyond the occasion itself.

The return of our famous, annual and must-see Inverurie Reindeer Parade | Sat 12th Dec 2026

Free to attend, Santa's beautiful creatures will parade through the town centre in Santa's sleigh to create a truly magical spectacle.

After the parade there will be an opportunity to see the Reindeer up close in the car park in front of the town hall as well as the chance to visit Santa in his Grotto!

🔁👏 Booth Scotland Ltd x Inverurie Boxing Club ⤵️

Booth Scotland Ltd are delighted to help Liam Leiper-Milne with his boxing journey by providing him with some new kit including gloves, head and groin guards.

Liam is taking the boxing scene by storm. He has just been chosen for the Scotland junior generation squad training every Saturday in Glasgow.

Liam is part of the Inverurie boxing club and his list of achievements so far is as follows-

2 x Northern district champion
5 x Scottish champion
British bronze medallist
Scotland team representative
And an all round nice guy!

Quite a list for being only sixteen.

We wish Liam continued success and will keep you posted with his progress. 🥊
