It all started with a baking challenge to keep my mind focussed during maternity….
5 years later I have done and achieved so much more.
Countless weddings and birthdays, treats for gallery openings, dessert stations, pop ups, not to mention feeding the Cruffin frenzy, it has been an actual blast and so grateful.
Like most small business owners it comes also with a load of stress, late nights, early start, midnight invoicing, long days, endless weeks and often working to exhaustion. The financial climate of this country doesn’t help but let’s not go there 🙄
I love what I do and how it makes people feel, but definitely time to invest more in myself 😝 and my ever supportive family.
So I have made the difficult decision to close the Patisserie. Married with a exciting opportunity which I couldn’t refuse has definitely felt like the right time to close this chapter.
I am so grateful for all the support from my amazing customers, my super loyal stockist, suppliers, fellow small business, past and present team members, I couldn’t have done this with you.
They say it takes a village… or a courtyard! Thank you the amazingly supportive team and all the businesses it is home to. I will miss our elevensies, onsies, twosies 😂
Most of all my husband, biggest fan, number one cheerleader, backbone, sound board etc Couldn’t do what I do with out your support and encouragement 😘
I’ll no longer have to listen to the super critical tasting notes from my girls… who am I kidding, that’s still going to happen. They are my driving force 😊
Our final day will be Saturday 22nd March, so don’t worry you still have time to stuff your face! 😝
Until then we will be open as usual, it will be lovely to see you.
Thank you for reading my Grammy speech!
Peace ✌🏾
