✨ A little note from us ✨
We usually try to keep a lot of our personal lives offline, but I wanted to explain a little about what's been going on behind the scenes.
Many of you will know that our Rosie has been rehearsing for Bugsy Malone for the last 8 months. Dancing is her absolute world, so when she badly injured her leg during the second act of the opening night, it was heartbreaking.
Despite the pain and disappointment, she chose to carry on. Barely able to walk, she went back on stage with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face. Watching her determination made us endlessly proud. Sadly, it meant she had to miss performing her favourite dance, which was devastating for her.
After a night's rest she was determined to give it another go, and that's why we unexpectedly had to close. There was no way we could miss something she had worked so incredibly hard for. Family has to come first sometimes, and I hope you can understand that.
A huge thank you to Carol, everyone involved in producing and chaperoning Bugsy Malone, and all of Rosie's cast friends who quite literally picked her up off the floor after every performance when she couldn't get herself back up. Your kindness, encouragement and care meant more than you'll ever know.
The past month or so has been a tough season. Between staffing challenges, family commitments and everything else life has thrown our way, it's been a lot. There have been times when we've had to put our children first, and at the end of the day, they're the reason we're doing all of this. Thank you for your patience, kindness and understanding on the days we haven't quite been able to show up as we'd hoped.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We genuinely wouldn't be here without every single person who chooses to buy from us, recommends us, or even simply likes and shares our posts. Every bit of support helps our little family more than you know.
A huge thank you also goes to our amazing new team members, who have been thrown in at the deep end and have worked so hard to learn everything in such a short space of time. We really appreciate everything you've done.
