Want to know the best thing for me about The Bread Shed ..?

It's not the taste testing new recipes.. although that's a perk, perhaps not necessarily for my waistline though 🐷

It's certainly not the washing up at the end of a 12 hour bake session 🧽

It's the amazing customer relationships I've made so far! 🤗

One regular letting me know she's found out that she's going to be grandparent for the first time! 🎉🩷💙

Another having a chuckle about their recent knee op

Setting the worlds to right as they pick out this weekends snacks 🍞🧈

Grumbling about the 5th heatwave of the summer, the lack of "useful" rain and how empty the waterbutts are 🌧️

It's you guys that really make the Shed worthwhile 🩷

I have a few "Too Good To Waste" Bags. £20 worth of bakes for £10, ideally collection this evening!

What a washout it was yesterday, although that means a LOVELY selection on the shelves for you all!

Only 1 box of duck eggs today, if the hens lay early enough, I'll put another box in about midday!

Good morning!

Due to the rain this morning, I've set up The Bread Shed inside the house, but anticipating moving it back to the shed when the weather clears up (I'm not complaining, means I don't need to water the veg patch today 🎉🌧️)

Lots of lovely bits available, plenty of sausage rolls, quail scotch eggs, & raspberry lemonades too, they've just been kept in the fridge for now, but please ask my little shop keepers, they'll be more than happy to assist!

Bank Holi-YAY! 💃🏼

The weekend is almost upon us, and it's a 3 day-er! 🎊

All the more reason to celebrate as The Bread Shed is ready to swing open it's doors for you, tomorrow and Sunday from 8am! 🎉

I couldn't wait to get started this weekends menu, a few firm family favourites on here, and that's what The Bread Shed is all about, baking what my family enjoys eating! 🥰

To prove this, is a photo of my youngest, Adele, last year, devouring her first try of Crumble, just one of the newest additions to The Bread Shed menu, available this weekend 😂🍏

Good evening to everyone, whether you're a seasoned customer or a first time browser! 🍞🥚🍪

Every Monday, the newest menu drops for the weekend ahead, and here she is!

A few new items again, this hot weather has made us really crave our Raspberry Lemonade, and thought it would be an ideal addition to The Bread Shed ☀️🥛

As we're heading into the Autumn (apparently) it's also crumble season! We love a crumble in our household, it's our favourite served with yummy thick custard (even better if you've made it yourself with our eggs! 😂😉) but whilst it's still warm out, we also love it with a nice scoop of vanilla ice-cream👌🏼

And lastly, Wild Meadow Weddings & Events will be back with some of their beautiful jam jar posies, the last time we had these in the shed, they went really well! 🌸🪻

I've been a little quieter on preorders, so now's the time to ensure your items will be 100% available for you!

You all keep me so so busy- but I love it! 😴

I am missing a payment or two this weekend, one from yesterday, where a lovely lady knocked on the door, as the Monzo app wasn't working, and said she'd pay when she's home.. no worries if you forgot, just a quick payment now would be great, thankyou!

Between planning days out during the 6 weeks holiday, finishing off the house work and rescheduling a camping trip, I totally forgot to put up this weekends menu! 🍞

I know, I said I wasn't going to be open this weekend, but with restrictions on gas stove cooking when camping at the moment, we've made the decision reschedule, so The Bread Shed will open! Yayay!
