🌿 A little reminder that rest matters too… 🌿

Behind every small business is a real person — and sometimes that person needs to put down the mixing bowl, step away from the emails and orders, and simply switch off. ❤️

This holiday has been about family, making memories, slowing down and enjoying the moments that are so easily missed when life gets busy. ☀️🌊

As a small business owner, it can be tempting to feel like you should always be working… answering messages, planning the next bake, posting on social media, checking orders.

But I’m learning that taking time away isn’t time wasted.

Rest is part of running a business.
Family time is important.
And coming back refreshed, inspired and ready to create is good for both me and my business. 🎂✨

So here are a few little glimpses from our holiday — because life isn’t just about the things we make and achieve. It’s about the memories we make along the way. ❤️

📱 How to leave a review for Buttercream – Cakes by Emma Pearson

1. Open the Facebook app on your phone.
2. Tap the 🔍 Search icon at the top.
3. Search for Buttercream – Cakes by Emma Pearson.
4. Tap the correct Facebook business page.
5. On the business page, look underneath the business name and buttons such as Like / Follow / Message.
6. Look for Reviews, Recommendations, or See All.
* If you can’t see it immediately, tap More (…).
7. Tap Reviews or Recommendations.
8. Facebook may ask “Do you recommend Buttercream – Cakes by Emma Pearson?”
9. Select Yes.
10. A box will appear where you can write about your experience.
11. Type your review. You can mention what you ordered, how it looked/tasted, the service you received, and anything you particularly loved.
12. You can also add a photograph of your cake if you wish.
13. Tap Post or Submit.

💻 If using Facebook on a computer

1. Go to Facebook and log in.
2. Search for Buttercream – Cakes by Emma Pearson.
3. Open the business page.
4. Click Reviews or Recommendations in the page menu.
5. Click Yes when asked if you recommend the business.
6. Write your review.
7. Add a photo if you’d like.
8. Click Post.

If you can’t see the Reviews/Recommendations option: Facebook sometimes changes where this appears, and it can also depend on the person’s account or the way the Page is configured. In that case, try tapping More (…) on the business page first.
