A different night last night where I headed over to Rhynie SWI to do a talk about how LJM Cakes started and a demo!

The demo I did was something new I haven't done before was showing the ladies hints and tips with NO cake tools but using items around the house to make textures.

I made a book, roses, a tail of a scaled animal, very quick Christmas trees and how to cover a cake board then made it wood effect.

Then I went to try some of the delicious sausage rolls with 13 entries and picking out the best apron.

A very special project for my granny's 80th birthday.

YES IT'S CAKE!!! 🤩🤩

A 3D vase made with cake using Dawn Butler - Dinkydoodle structure kit to make this possible.

Covered with fondant and hand painted free style with edible paints.

Adding a bouquet of silk flowers just to finish it off. 🤩🎂

So chuffed with how it turned out and for once Granny was speechless. 🥹 Follow along and wait to see the cutting of the cake! 🎂

It's September... how did that happen?

I have limited myself with orders at the moment due to working behind the scenes on a cake project... all will be revealed mid November. 😅

Since the 'C' word is fast approaching.. I thought I would put a little post up if anyone would be interested in Christmas Eve boxes or these can be made for 1st December for those little cheeky elf's appearing.😆

includes 2 cupcakes, 1 personalised elf with kids name, 2 character biscuits, 2 small iced biscuits. AND chocolate coins.

£22.50 per box (extra personalised elf biscuits can be added to the box)
