We’ve partnered up with The Solace Sauna, Huntly to bring you the ultimate autumn refresh at Greenmyres Adventures on Friday 16th October!

Book each element separately so you can mix, match, and time your session exactly how you want it—whether that’s a brisk paddle followed by a steaming sauna, or a dip in the lochan and a cozy heat session.

We’ve got a packed market lined up this month, both indoors at Number 30 and out in Huntly Square, with a fantastic 41 stalls bringing you the very best of local food, drink, produce, crafts and more! 🥐🍰🥩🧀🌿🎁

And adding to the atmosphere… 🎶 Banffshire Community Band will be joining us! 🎺🥁

Join the fun and take part in the Orb’s Bookshop Squirrel Trail! We’re encouraging folk to look out for real squirrels and also join in on the trail for our 11 red squirrels in local shops and businesses.
Pick up a free trail sheet in the bookshop until Oct 10th.
Return your completed trail sheets to the bookshop to go into the draw for an amazing red squirrel themed hamper.

We’re also encouraging folk to head to the Scottish Squirrels website and take part in the real squirrel survey for 2026

A very high wildfire warning is in place for Eastern Highlands, Eastern and Southern Scotland from today (Wednesday, 12 August) until Thursday, 13 August.

Everyone should avoid lighting outdoor fires or barbecues. A single spark can cause significant damage, and there is no such thing as a harmless fire.

You can help prevent the risk of wildfires by sharing this post with your family, friends, and any visitors or tourists.

If you see an outdoor fire, call 999 immediately. Give the location and any other relevant information so we can respond quickly.

We are open all year round, and currently offer a stopover site with service stop facilities. Based in Kennethmont, Aberdeenshire AB544NU

Arrival time between 13:00hrs and 20.00hrs
Departure time 11:00hrs
We have 5 gravel hard standing pitches, suitable for campervans and motorhomes up to 8.7 in length.

And each pitch has an electric hook-up available.
- We have:
- Black waste
- Grey waste
- Fresh water
- Shower blocks and a utility area
- Washing machine and Tumble drier

You only pay for what you use!

We are a sustainable Aire.
Around the site you will find flowers and plants, as well as bird feeders and insect hotels, to encourage local biodiversity.

We welcome well behaved pets free of charge.

Our site has been inspected and accredited by the Caledonian Touring Club.

You can book online for the pitch only and the rest can be paid for when you arrive 👍😊
