Spring celebrations all in one beautiful cake 🌸✨

This elegant 10" square cake was created to celebrate four special ladies in April — such a lovely way to bring family together 💕

The cake itself was a gluten-free vanilla sponge, filled with light and silky vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream and a layer of raspberry jam. Finished with a smooth coating of white chocolate ganache and white fondant.

The design was inspired by spring, with delicate handcrafted sugar flowers including narcissi, tulips, roses, white petunias, pansies, and dainty blue and pink blossoms. Each flower was carefully chosen to create a soft, seasonal feel full of colour and life 🌼

To make it even more personal, we added the names of all four ladies celebrants — a truly meaningful centrepiece for a special family occasion 💛

Celebrating love, one year on 💍✨

This beautiful cake was created for a special couple, commissioned by a thoughtful cousin to mark their wedding a year ago 💕

Inside, this indulgent design featured three layers of rich caramel sponge, filled with silky caramel buttercream and homemade caramel spread. The whole cake was wrapped in a smooth caramel ganache … pure delight for caramel lovers 🤍

The decoration was just as special — handcrafted sugarpaste flowers including delicate orchids, cheerful narcissi, pretty pansies, sweet peas, and trailing ivy, all carefully arranged to create a romantic, timeless feel 🌸. The final touch in honour of the special guests were intertwined gold and silver rings.

A truly bespoke cake for a truly special celebration — we loved bringing this one to life ✨

On Friday, March 28th, we held our first sourdough baking class.

Participants created 12 bowls of dough, resulting in 4 sourdough loaves, 4 focaccias, 22 hamburger buns, and 4 brioches. It was an engaging and enjoyable experience, and we appreciate everyone who attended. I look forward to seeing your baked creations.

We are currently gauging local interest in homemade sourdough bread or foccacia. Since 2021, we have been baking sourdough weekly and are now looking to offer it for sale at £5.00 per item.

Our sourdough loaves / foccacia will be made to order, requiring a three-day lead time for preparation. They will be available for collection or delivery. Initially, orders can be placed by email to [email protected], payment (bank transfer or cash) will be required when placing an order.

Our offering will be expanded to include additional baked goods.

We delivered this 2 tier vegan vanilla sponge with raspberry frosting and raspberry jam to Abingdon last Saturday 24th August.
Cake received great feedback and was enjoyed by the entire party.
We love sunflowers, they make the semi-naked cake so elegant.
