Sorry for the silence, it’s taking me longer to recharge than I expected. I’m working slowly through orders and I’m going to stock up on a few colour ways that are running low ready for next month but mostly I’m taking it easy and spending some time cuddling the dogs and working on a few of my crochet projects. Check out what I’ve reposted from Rock and Roll Bride to see my latest mandala project!

I’ve got a confession… I’ve been over doing things and it’s caught up with me. I’m absolutely exhausted and I need to have a rest and look after myself so sadly I’ve had to cancelling exhibiting at WhitstaWool this month. Instead I have a bone marrow biopsy to look forward to on Wednesday as part of my drugs trial so any orders placed this week might take a bit longer to be made and dispatched. Please bear with me, normally service will be resumed shortly.

Today, Wednesday 30th September is the last chance to help support my fundraiser for Blood Cancer UK it’s really easy to do. Just go to my website and order some yarn and I will donate 5% of all my yarn sales in September to this amazing charity.

For those of you that are new here or have missed my previous posts I have a form of chronic blood cancer called an MPN and I have spent the last 3 years on a clinical drug trial. I’m really lucky that my trial drugs have stabilised my blood counts and I’ve spent the last year within normal ranges. Going forward the wonderful NHS are now going to supply me with this drug so hopefully I can continue to keep things stable and manage my symptoms more consistently.

Thank you to everyone who has bought from me online and in person this month. All your sales will have helped me to make a fantastic donation.

What an amazing day 1 of Yarndale you did not disappoint. We had a wonderful first day meeting new customers catching up with some previous ones and seeing some of our amazing regulars. We are heading off to the Auction Mart early in the morning to fill the displays back up ready for Sundays visitors so if you are heading to Yarndale tomorrow come and say hi!

Also thanks Natasha Slatter for being today’s face of Crochet UK because my face is very tired looking!

Also, also, I’m giving 5% of all my yarn sales in September to Blood Cancer UK so every online and in person order is helping this awesome charity.

Here’s a crochet job you won’t find be doing very often but Butterfly Bush Mandala by definitely deserved to be blocked ready to go on display at this weekend. The colour way could only be Skipton!

I’ll have the pattern and yarn at the show this weekend. Thank you to for their amazing quick service getting me my new blocking boards and pins here with plenty of time to get this done.

Pretty much my only view for the last few days. It’s a bit hectic here keeping on top of orders and stocking back up on colours ready for next week.

If you want me to bring along anything specific for collection from the stall (A10 on the map) you can use the collection option on the website and we will have your yarn ready and waiting for you at the show.

Good morning from sunny Farnham. I’m here at for the next 2 days. We’ve got patterns, yarn and accessories and I managed to get my sample finished, the ends were sewn in at 7 this morning before I headed to the show.
