I started macarons as a challenge during lockdown, and it's become what I'm best known for.

If you's also like to give them a go, you can do. Most macaron recipes use half a dozen eggs and leave you with a bowl of ‘I’ll deal with that later.'

Mine uses one.

Less waste.
Better for feeling batter change.
Better for visuals.
Easier to know when something goes wrong.

Yes. I’d go straight for a full dessert table.

Which is, coincidentally, why I now do this for a living.

If you don’t want a standard wedding cake and would rather have something much more you, then do it! There are no rules, and I'm here to help with bringing your dream to reality.

I do love when people are shocked that I’m not available after they’ve ghosted me for months.

I’m not a calendar placeholder, and as I get busier I book events, plan ahead, and occasionally have a personal life (which, inconveniently, includes things like concerts booked a year in advance).

So if your date now clashes with Metallica… I fear you’ve lost to rock and roll.

If you want a booking, you need to book it as soon as possible.

Enquiries don’t save dates, sadly for all of us.

ll be at the Easter market in Chieveley tomorrow 4th April.

A slightly chaotic return to normal service while the kitchen is still mid-renovation, but we move.

Macarons will be available (in limited numbers, because I’m still working around boxes and tools that may or may not be in the right place).
