Do big online macaron companies hand pipe every macaron individually for consistency or offer you bespoke characters or shapes?
No.
Do they source different powdered pigments from different suppliers depending on the exact colour you need?
Also no.
Will they go out of their way to make sure the design is exactly as you want it? And not just the result of the reliable edible printer?
Doubtful.
Can they colour match deep jewel tones, dark palettes, celestial themes, goth weddings, or rich bold colours without you compromising?
Usually not.
Can you tweak flavours until they’re exactly how YOU want them to taste?
Nope.
Can you actually sit down with them and taste your macarons before your wedding?
Not really.
Will they help with styling ideas, ribbon colours, supplier recommendations, dessert quantities, setup logistics, and generally hand-hold you through wedding chaos?
Absolutely not.
But will I?
Hell yes.
That’s the difference between ordering macarons and booking a bespoke wedding supplier. They can offer different colours and flavours, sure. They taste good too it's where my love came from. Buuut it isn't the same.
You’re not just paying for dessert.
You’re paying for experience, customisation, support, and someone obsessing over tiny details so you don’t have to.
Also, I’m not even more expensive!!!!
In a lot of cases, I’m actually cheaper once you factor in setup, tastings, and the fact you get an actual human involved in your wedding instead of just a dispatch email.
If you want standard, there are loads of options.
If you want someone quirky, personal and hopefully as excited about your order as you, then look no further.
