Massive thank you to Aaron and for keeping Moonlight Macarons operational during renovation madness.

Not an ad (I'm not that important). Just genuine gratitude from someone whose kitchen is currently fighting for its life.

If you're renovating and wondering how you'll survive without a kitchen, this has been an absolute lifesaver.

Highly recommend!

The sun finally comes out for a bank holiday Friday and I think:
“Maybe I’ll go to the pub.”

Chrissie:
“Hi Sarah 👀”

I am not going to the pub.

Chelsea Flower Show starting this week felt like the perfect excuse to share some of my favourite floral-inspired creations.

One thing I’ve love about baking is how imaginative people get with their ideas, flowers, colours, textures, gardens, seasons… there’s so much inspiration everywhere once you start looking for it.

Some of my favourite flavours and design ideas have even come from ingredients growing in my own garden, which makes creating them feel that little bit more personal.

I love seeing what clients come to me with.
A few reference photos and an idea is usually all it takes before we start turning it into something completely unique to them.

And yes, I will absolutely continue looking at flowers and wondering whether they’d work as macarons.

Do big online macaron companies hand pipe every macaron individually for consistency or offer you bespoke characters or shapes?
No.

Do they source different powdered pigments from different suppliers depending on the exact colour you need?
Also no.

Will they go out of their way to make sure the design is exactly as you want it? And not just the result of the reliable edible printer?
Doubtful.

Can they colour match deep jewel tones, dark palettes, celestial themes, goth weddings, or rich bold colours without you compromising?
Usually not.

Can you tweak flavours until they’re exactly how YOU want them to taste?
Nope.

Can you actually sit down with them and taste your macarons before your wedding?
Not really.

Will they help with styling ideas, ribbon colours, supplier recommendations, dessert quantities, setup logistics, and generally hand-hold you through wedding chaos?
Absolutely not.

But will I?
Hell yes.

That’s the difference between ordering macarons and booking a bespoke wedding supplier. They can offer different colours and flavours, sure. They taste good too it's where my love came from. Buuut it isn't the same.

You’re not just paying for dessert.
You’re paying for experience, customisation, support, and someone obsessing over tiny details so you don’t have to.

Also, I’m not even more expensive!!!!

In a lot of cases, I’m actually cheaper once you factor in setup, tastings, and the fact you get an actual human involved in your wedding instead of just a dispatch email.

If you want standard, there are loads of options.

If you want someone quirky, personal and hopefully as excited about your order as you, then look no further.
