I am a little behind in posting wedding cakes as life has been a little chaotic the last few months.
I do have a few more wedding cakes to post pictures of, but also feel like now is the right time to announce that I am winding my business down to the end of the year and my final official wedding will be just after Christmas this year 💗
Unfortunately since 2020 costs have increasingly risen, and along with all the upheaval of COVID and wedding postponements, it has become impossible to feel like I'm making enough of a living from this to make the time away from my little family, due to working, worthwhile. Cake makers and wedding suppliers in general are such hard workers, which I'm not sure is always fully appreciated, and working 6/7 days a week and barely making minimum wage, is unfortunately just not sustainable. You may have noticed I've been a bit quieter than usual and I have still been working, just not as much as I am concentrating on raising my two boys and have also started another degree.
I'd like to thank anyone who has ever ordered a cake from me, especially all of my wedding couples, I can't think of one who has not been an absolute joy to work with. 💗
