Last night we attended the Yorkshire Choice Awards with Adam one of our Rockstars from Launchpad STEM, one of our amazing trustees Jade Jones and our fabulous NEW patron Janet Bebb from Social Progress

We were up against some insanely awesome people in both the inspirational individual and some massive, multi million pound charities in the Charitable Excellence categories and guess what…. Little Ruddi's Retreat was a runner up alongside Focus4Hope and Day One Trauma Support

Huge congratulations to Leeds Hospitals Charity for winning, you deserve this massive accolade.. your work is phenomenal.!! And well done to all of the nominees.

Nights like that are always special and last night even more so for us because the incredible Candlelighters was the winner last year so all monies raised on the night went to them and they were able to speak about their work to everyone in the room.. a hard listen for those of us in the coveted Cancer Club that they spoke about.. good luck in all you do and thank you for inspiring Ali Waterworth to set Ruddi's Retreat up.

WINNER! 🏆We are delighted to announce that our charity Ruddi's Retreat has been chosen as Eaton Smith Solicitors Business of the Month, the last one to be announced in their 30th year.

We were presented with this beautiful framed certificate which is now proudly on show in our shop Ruddi’s in Slaithwaite and then had a lovely lunch that we didn't have to make which was extra special... 🙂

Thank you so much to Eaton Smith for your hospitality and to the judges for recognising our hard work... See you all on the 26th June at the Business of the Year Awards.
