The little wins 🩷

Years ago, when I started baking, a KitchenAid felt completely out of reach. It was one of those things I looked at and thought, “Maybe one day.”

Today, after all the stress, long days, two shops, a growing team and countless cakes later, I bought my first pink one.

It probably sounds silly, but it made me really happy.

A good reminder that sometimes the things we once dreamed about don’t stop being special just because we’ve achieved them.

And if you’re just starting your journey, keep going.

The KitchenAid will come. 🩷

This week’s counter is coming together beautifully ✨

Wedding season is one of my favourite times of the year. 🤍

Recently I had the pleasure of creating this beautiful long wedding cake, finished with tiny hand-piped flowers and the softest little details.

Long cakes are certainly having a moment right now, and I can see why. They feel modern and elegant, but when done right, they still carry all the romance and tradition that wedding cakes have always represented.

While I was leaving, I caught a glimpse of the beautiful bride.

And it reminded me of something I think every wedding supplier gets to witness from time to time.

Sometimes love is so obvious that no words are needed.

No grand speeches.
No big displays.

Just two people looking at each other and knowing.

The cake may be part of the celebration, but love is always the centrepiece.
