At Badger’s Deli, we believe that good food should be full of flavour, made with care, and something you genuinely look forward to.

That’s why we’re proud to tell you that over a third of the deli lines we stock have been awarded Great Taste stars ⭐

For us, it’s never just been about filling shelves — it’s about finding products we truly love and would happily serve around our own table. From everyday favourites to little treats, we want everything at Badger’s to taste as good as it looks.

The Great Taste awards are judged by real food experts, so these stars mean a lot to the amazing producers behind the products — and to us too.

A new one on the shelf at Badger’s Deli.

I found these in a deli in Northumberland & they are so delicious I was determined to stock them.

Earthy Overnight Oats — a simple dry mix made with wholesome Asian inspired superfoods, and no added sugar.
Just add your choice of milk the night before, leave overnight, and breakfast is ready when you are.

What a day! Our first Vintage Day as Badger’s Deli, and what a blast it was.

Hundreds of takeaway coffees poured, plenty of friendly faces, and we sold out of takeaway sandwiches and pastries — thank you for keeping us so busy.

A huge thank you to our amazing team. You worked incredibly hard & I’m very proud!

To customers old and new, thank you for your support. You helped make our first Vintage Day a really special one.

And to the organising committee — great job! So much hard work goes on behind the scenes, and it showed!

We’re already looking ahead to 2027 😊

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their time, not just today, but over the last year to make Howden Vintage Day such a success.

Badger & Bean & Badger's Deli were proud to do our bit by feeding the volunteers who worked so hard behind the scenes on this fabulous event.

I know that planning & fundraising for 2027’s event will start in a couple of weeks but before then, all of you should put your feet up and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done!! 👏🙏🏼

From 8:30am we’ll have breakfast & lunch sandwiches, pastries, deli boxes, fresh barista coffee, iced matcha, foodie gifts and plenty of treats waiting for you to takeaway..

Come down early, grab something delicious, and have a browse while you soak up the vintage day atmosphere.

We didn’t see this coming… 👀

Kimchi & sauerkraut from Loving Foods Fermented have quietly become our hero products — and we’ve just had to restock them for the second time since opening. Wild.

Maybe it’s the crunch, maybe it’s the tang… or maybe your guts just know what they’re doing.

Either way, they’ve found some pretty perfect company:
✨ gut-loving kombucha
✨ fresh sourdough bread
✨ all the good bacteria your body actually wants
