Artisan cakes and bakes made to order, using the finest ingredients, locally sourced where possible.. Hello everyone and welcome to my page, Foxy Cakes & Bakes. I have been baking for almost as long as I can remember, starting off at my Mum's side, making cakes and pastries. In 2013, I set up Foxy Cakes & Bakes to enable me to share my love of baking with like minded people and to offer the public

the chance to buy and try my cakes and bakes. I am registered with East Lindsey District Council and have been awarded a 5 star food hygiene rating. Wherever possible, I try to use locally sourced ingredients and always use free range, grade A eggs. In 2022, I was proud and honoured to be one of the Top 50 Finalists of the Platinum Pudding Competition, run by Fortnum & Mason to find a pudding fit for HM The Queen on her Platinum Jubilee. In 2023, I was thrilled to be asked to make customised shortbread biscuits to be served to the veterans and HRH The King at a celebratory event at the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, RAF Coningsby. Please feel free to get in touch. All cakes and bakes are made fresh to order. This is more of a hobby for me, so all bakes receive the special attention to detail they deserve.

First bake since getting back from Croatia.

Lotus Biscoff Macarons.

Filled with Biscoff buttercream and a core of Biscoff spread. Topped with a Biscoff drizzle and crumbs.

You may have noticed that I’ve been a bit quiet over the past week or so.

On 1 June, Nick & I celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary with a return to the beautiful Cavtat, Croatia.

We were so grateful to get the opportunity to go back again this year. We did some new things, celebrated our anniversary, visited some new places and made some new memories ….. and, of course, watched the best sunsets together every evening.

An honour to make a hobby themed cake for Stewart’s special birthday, organised by his wife and my lovely friend, Vandi.

I don’t make many sugarpaste covered cakes these days but, thank goodness this wasn’t a buttercream cake. It was a real challenge getting it to the Petwood Hotel in the heat but we made it.

The bottom tier is a dark rich fruit cake covered in marzipan and sugarpaste icing.

The middle tier is a three layer Victoria Sandwich cake, filled with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream. Decorated to reflect Stewart’s love of golf.

The top tier is a chocolate cake, filled with chocolate buttercream and decorated to reflect his love of swimming.

The cake was finished with a topper provided by Vandi, showing Stewart’s love of cycling and a Barnsley FC badge.

I love from Waitrose & Partners. My favourite reward scheme as you actually receive something for your loyalty. I’ve had teabags, Gü desserts, mince pies, a bunch of beautiful tulips and recently, a jar of Bonne Maman UK peach conserve.

I made an orange Victoria Sandwich, flavoured with fresh orange zest and filled it and topped it with the peach conserve and orange buttercream.
