Our confectioner Jacks has been working hard all weekend, getting everything ready for our opening tomorrow. Thanks Jacks!

🎉 WE OPEN TOMORROW! 🎉

And we can’t wait to welcome you all back!

Please bear with us, we have a partly new team and a new till system, so your patience and support while we find our feet would mean a lot.

Whilst we continue our search for a baker, we’ll be serving:

Breakfast baps
Lunch baps and paninis
Savouries
Cakes
And, of course, the famous Bread Basket coleslaw!

See you tomorrow!

BREAD BASKET IS REOPENING!

We know you’re all desperate to get your hands on your favourite traditional treats, so we’re delighted to announce that The Bread Basket will be reopening on Monday 19th October! 🎉

Whilst our search for the perfect Master Baker continues (we’re still trying to find someone who really knows their dough), we couldn’t keep you waiting any longer!

So, what’s on the menu? 😋

We’ll be serving up:
🥓 Breakfast baps
🥪 Lunch baps
🥧 Pies & pasties
🌭 Sausage rolls
🧀 Paninis
🥗 Salad boxes
🍰 And, of course, your favourite cakes!

Please bear with us while we get back into the swing of things. We’ll be operating with a reduced menu initially while we find our feet and continue the search for our new master baker.

Thank you all for your patience and continued support. We can’t wait to welcome you back and get those traditional favourites back on the counter!

See you on Monday 19th October!

We’re still looking for the right baker to join Bread Basket Holyhead.

As we prepare to get the bakery back up and running, we're looking for an experienced commercial baker who can hit the ground running.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident making bread and baps from scratch and managing the process from mixing and shaping through to proving and baking.

If you're an experienced baker — or know someone who would be a great fit — we'd love to hear from you.

Note- We have spoken to the previous baker and, although we would have loved to have him back, he’s happy in his current role and has decided to stay where he is. We completely respect his decision and wish him all the best.

So, the search is now on for someone new to join us and become part of the next chapter at The Bread Basket!

This little book contains the magic that is Bread Basket…….

Passed down through generations, these traditional family recipes are part of the story, heritage and heart behind our bakery.

Some recipes may be over 100 years old, but their magic lives on ❤️

We’re delighted to announce that something exciting is taking shape behind the scenes.

Under new management and proudly run by a local family, we’re bringing a fresh new look, a new vision and plenty of passion as we prepare to open our doors once again.

We’re looking forward to creating a warm, welcoming place where good food, familiar faces and a little bit of home come together.

There’s lots happening behind the scenes, and we can’t wait to share more with you.

Something delicious is on the way… More details coming soon.
