Last Saturday I held my monthly Saturday Papercraft Workshop during which we worked with the Valley In Bloom Suite. At the Saturday workshops attendees always get product to play with both on the day and lots left over to use afterwards. They always include a handmade favour too with a little something to say thank you for attending. This time round I made these lovely little packages (I followed a tutorial by In The Pink Designs) that houses a little fine tip glue bottle. If you'd like to join me for a Saturday workshop my next is on the 26th September 10.30am - 1pm when we will be using lots of new items for a craft buffet! Message to book your spot.

Happy 1st September to you! I am excited about this month and what it might bring ! I am hoping to welcome new folks both young and older to my events. Today also marks the first day of a new catalogue and this time of year is always my favourite to craft for. During September and October I am inviting folks who might want to try a Papercraft Workshop to come along and make an item alongside the folks in class at the cost of one project (there will be options available to make 2 or 3 also) The option includes all the materials, guidance and support to make your item along with a cuppa and a biscuit. Here's some photos from this evenings Kids Craft Club. Thanks to Lucy for taking and contributing some to the mix too, much appreciated. We spent time learning how to paper piece. To personalise and make the mice a little more attractive we added jumpers and hats and even a hand drawn bow was added! We spent time working on cutting ✂️ skills and had fun with this cool fold! The next Kids Craft Club sessions are on Monday 14th September at Slaithwaite and Wednesday 16th in Meltham. Thanks to everyone that's joined me over the summer.

I have a busy week coming up and I would absolutely love to welcome more folks to my events. So if you have been wanting to try a class or fancy bringing a young one to a Kids Craft Club then please do message me to book a spot or ask any questions you may have. I consider myself to be really lucky to work with some lovely folks at all of my sessions who are friendly, welcoming and supportive of one another. We dont just craft, we chat, laugh, learn, create and form bonds/friendships.

Three Places Available - On Saturday 29th August I'm holding a workshop at the Carlile Institute, Meltham when we will be using the beautiful Valley In Bloom Suite Collection to make four handmade items (some of which are shown here) I have really enjoyed working with the suite, especially the papers and the embossing folder which I've used on nearly all of my projects. I had a first today! We were joined at Kids Craft Club by two lovely girls and Pink! Pink was a Furbie ( the first that I was referring to) and strangely gave the right responses at the correct time. We also had a really creative and helpful Grandad helping. I only got photos of D's (and Pinks) work! Thank you for coming along and to the Fourth Fiend for hosting us.

I had fun with the projects for today's Kids Craft Club at The Fourth Fiend Taphouse and next Monday's session at The Sixth Fiend Taphouse. We worked with this technique a little while back which the kids seemed to enjoy so I thought we'd add a twist and do it again. The little Mice are from an upcoming stamp set available from September, so they even get to play with new goodies too!

I've had four cancellations for this afternoon, so I have plenty of spaces if you'd like to bring a young person along. I'm also taking bookings for the Sixth Fiend/ Slaithwaite session.
