OK - Here's what the kids made of the projects today. Sadly I don't have photos of everyone's work! Because there was a TON of CREATIVITY in the room tonight and they all put their own personal touch on their projects. We had a giant 🕷️, we had blood, brains and a vampire 🦇, we had pumpkins and cats ( they were popular today!) I love how you can give a group of seven kids all the same materials and that they come up with so many alternatives!

We have a couple of lovely new Christmas Card kits available. On Wednesday 4th November I will be holding a fundraising event in the The Fourth Fiend Taphouse for Meltham Food Bank using one of them - The Festive Plaid Pop-Outs kit.

In a past life I worked as a Volunteer Coordinator in a Support Centre and as part of that role I also had some responsibility for the running of the centre's Food Bank (as did all the staff at the Centre) Through this I became acutely aware of how quickly folks can become in need of a little help even whilst working fulltime and for so many different reasons. The Foodbank was a lifeline for many.

At the event you will get a kit to make five cards and five tags or if you'd prefer to, you can make ten Christmas Cards (and I will supply the extra card bases)

If you can't make the event but would like to purchase a kit? then please do contact me as this is more than possible.

At next week's Kids Craft Clubs one of the projects will be this luminary card and box . There will be lots of opportunities for the kids to personalise their projects, mine is always offered for guidance/ idea of what they could make only! ( I took this along to my adults class this morning and they were disappointed they couldn't make it!) If you'd like to book a spot for a young person at either The Sixth Fiend Taphouse , Slaithwaite on Monday or The Fourth Fiend Taphouse, Meltham on Wednesday please message me to do so..

Its Throwback Tuesday! Only because my phone decided to show me some photos from a Christmas Workshop I held in 2018! It must have been a busy Christmas prep season as we made A LOT!

You will see that I have been obssesed with making Light projects for a long time! I came up with this idea all on my lonesome. We used envelopes and a punch, stuck them all together and threaded lights through - it was a very sturdy project and lasted a few years! As did the advent calendar - I remember I wasn't too popular with throwing in so many big makes into the day (they all loved them really!)

IF you would like to join me for a big day of Christmas Crafting - I am holding my annual event on Saturday 31st of October and you can join me for half a day or the full day.
PS - I do a good mixture of easy and the odd more complicated/ indepth projects now - Promise!
PPS - These photos are unedited!
