Every year I have the absolute pleasure of making birthday cakes for my fabulous nieces. 🎂💕

Somehow they’re now 11 years old and getting ready for high school — I honestly don’t know where the time has gone!

Watching them grow into such amazing young people is a privilege, and I hope I’m still making their birthday cakes when they’re 21 and beyond. ❤️

It’s been a funny few weeks with me feeling generally a bit rubbish and struggling to find my baking mojo… but the good news is, I’ve found it! 🎉🍰

The Cake Shed will be open from 12 noon tomorrow and will be packed with goodies. I’ll post a video tomorrow morning so you can see exactly what’s on offer.

For my gluten-free customers, there will be a few GF carrot cake pots available. If you’d like to reserve one, just send me a message! 🥕🧁

Due to the heatwave, I’m doing things a little differently this weekend to make sure your cakes stay in the best possible condition 🍰☀️

If you’d like to place an order, please take a look at the menu and message me via Messenger or WhatsApp 07740 650272 with what you’d like. I’ll then send over a payment link to confirm your order.

Collections will be from my home in Holmes Chapel between 11am and 8pm on Friday and Saturday. When you arrive to collect, please ring the doorbell.

A special 17th birthday cake for Esmé 🎂✨

I was lucky enough to know Esmé when I worked at the high school, and it’s been such a pleasure to see her grow into such a lovely young woman. I was delighted to be asked to make her birthday cake for her celebrations 💕

I can’t take credit for the design — it’s a very popular style for 17th birthdays — but I’m so pleased with how it turned out… and thankfully Esmé was too! 😊
