As you can tell these don’t have a name yet as in our family they’re known as “ikea” biscuits but I don’t want to give the idea they’re flat-packed and required an Allan key🤭! I was so excited a few years ago to stumble on a recipe in a book I’d had for literally YEARS, and it was the absolute same recipe as the most DELICIOUS biscuits we love from the Ikea food market! We bring them to you here in GIANT form and partially dipped in chocolate and finished with a sprinkle of Maldon flakes - on the CakeAway from tomorrow morning and we hope you like them as much as we do!

Here’s another of our specials… mega chocolatey cookies sandwiches together with a yoghurt ganache (ok, not exactly “healthy” but less super sweet than traditional cookie sandwich fillings. We’re rolling some in this GORGE caramelised coconut which we bought this last week and it DELISH (but ok, to appease the haters we won’t do all of them like that!). Upgrading a humble cookie to a proper full-on tummy filler! 🍪 available from 9am ish tomorrow morning on the CakeAway at BA3 5GY (see stories tomorrow morning for full selection). 🍪

A closer look at one of our specials for this upcoming week (see last night’s reel for the “why?” if you don’t know what this is about!)… these big bad boys are an example of something that came out of an “oopsie” when we piped out the eclair shells too big recently…. I can hear you saying from here “what do you mean too big🤨, there ain’t no such thing😋”, so I’ll clarify - the bigger they are the more filling they have (sounds good so far right?), but for us they’re then too big to sell at the set price we have for all our portions. Solution: fill with extra deliciousness and sell at a slightly higher price during our specials week! (Still in line with what you’d expect to pay at The Pudding Kitchen tho obvs) Boom🙌🏼. We sold out of crumble bar on the CakeAway yesterday and wanted to try out a new one…oh MY!!! This is sooooo good!!! Deliciously fudgy datey later sandwiched between our usual buttery nubbly crumble top and bottom and strewn liberally with walnuts, adding a fabulicious crunch.
