So …I’ve been waiting to post these as this cake was an emotional one. I put myself under a huge amount of pressure to make a beautiful cake for my gorgeous nephew Dominic and his beautiful wife Kat. The pressure was on, we had decided on one design then i saw this style and asked if this would be ok to make instead . The cake was lemon sponge and fed 90 people so it was pretty big. It took a lot ingredients, time , patience, and tears to get the end result . We had to battle the heat to transport it to the venue at Mobberley. I literally cried when i finished assembling it on the morning of wedding.
The wedding was fantastic ,full of love , laughter and precious family moments, i left the weekend with my heart full.
