We’re hopeful that things will be back to normal tomorrow, but in the meantime, cash is very much appreciated as it will help avoid any potential hiccups with card payments. 💷💷🪙

I’ve been the owner of Buttercream Tearoom for SIX MONTHS today! ❤️ 🥂

I can’t work out if it feels like 6 minutes or 6 years but what a 6 months it’s been…

We’ve had new menus, new faces, plenty of cakes and scones, afternoon teas, private parties, birthdays, baby showers, Christmas planning already 🙈, and of course unexpected challenges along the way.

One of the things I’m most grateful for is that Buttercream has continued to feel like Buttercream. The team who were here when I took over are still here, our lovely regulars are still coming through the door, and we’ve had so many new customers discover us too.

I really wanted to take on Buttercream and build on what was already here, rather than change it beyond recognition and I’m very proud of what we’re doing.

A huge thank you to the team for everything you do, to our regulars for continuing to support us, and to every single person who has booked a table, popped in for coffee and cake, ordered an afternoon tea, recommended us, left a review or simply told someone about us.

Here’s to the next 6 months and everything still to come at Buttercream! We can’t wait to welcome you ❤️🥂

We’re delighted (and just a little bit sorry!) to say that our Little Spooks Afternoon Tea on Saturday 31st October SOLD OUT within just 12 hours! 🧡

But don’t worry… there are still plenty of opportunities to get into the Halloween spirit early as this event will be running during half term! 🎃

🧙‍♀️ £12.95 per child

And following lots of enquiries from families enjoying their half term outside of Leicestershire, we’re pleased to announce that we’re adding ONE MORE DATE!🎉

This week’s soup has been freshly made in the kitchen today - broccoli & stilton, served with crusty bread and salted butter. 🥦🧀

There’s also a fresh batch of sausage rolls, a brand new cottage pie, quiches and of course, plenty of baking! 🍰
