We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our team. This is a varied, customer facing role at the heart of a busy and popular bakery, where you will support day to day shop operations while delivering excellent service.
You will be responsible for serving customers, maintaining shop standards and assisting with food preparation, including making high quality sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, a proactive attitude and a genuine passion for quality food and customer service.
This is a hands on role that requires flexibility, commitment and a willingness to get involved across all areas of the business. A bubbly and outgoing personality is highly desirable.
A driving licence would be advantageous, as would flexibility to work at our other outlet in Lymington when needed. Promotion and advancement into other senior roles is available should the successful candidate desire to follow that route of progression.
