A wedding cake from yesterday, delivered and set up at Leez Priory in Chelmsford. A two tier semi naked cake consisting of salted caramel along with chocolate & baileys, finished off with some florals provided by the florist, along with some gluten free raspberry and white chocolate cupcakes. When Natalie and Ryan first came to see me to discuss their wedding cake, they mentioned they wanted something ‘a bit different’ and I can honestly say, this is the first time I’ve made ‘top hat’ donuts as a bride and groom!! But who can’t resist a top hat donut from marketsqbakeryMarker Square Bakery (although, much to the disappointment of my children who all asked me to save them one 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦‍♀️) these ones were made from sugarpaste!!

So, along with the toppers, we also added some sugar flower pink gerberas to match their wedding flowers.

And to top it all off, there were Black Forest, Eton mess, and gluten free salted caramel cupcakes for their guests to enjoy as dessert.

All set up yesterday at Saxby’s Cider. I hope you both had a wonderful day celebrating your marriage and wish you a lifetime of happiness together💕

Based on a cake I made earlier in the year, this smaller version was to celebrate Harriet’s 40th birthday. Red velvet, filled with vanilla buttercream, white chocolate ganache and covered with couture sugarpaste with all decorations made from Saracino dolci.
