Its been a while...and those wee followers numbers have been creeping up recently🥰. So, I thought I'd take wee sec to reintroduce myself so you can get to know the girl behind the bakes.

Hi... I'm Sammi, or Samantha or Miss Sprinkles, I'll answer to anything really 🤣
In my day job I'm a scientist working in the lab, monitoring our environment for nasty chemicals and identifying sources of pollution. (Yes its nerdy, yes i wear a white coat and snazzy safety glasses all day and yes...I do still love it)

Then there's the other side of this pic...and the reason you're here... Sprinkles!!
Here, I use that science brain to bake (in my opinion and most of yours) pretty tasty cakes then tap into the creative side of myself to decorate these as beautiful wedding cakes with gorgeous sugar flowers, elegant birthday cakes to celebrate with family and every other celebration you can think of.😆

Whether you've met me in person at a Wedding Show, stalked my socials or been recommended by a friend, this wee timeline will help guide you through what to expect when booking your cake with me.

The enquiry form will ask a few basic questions, Date, Venue, guest numbers etc It also has the option to attach some inspiration pics. From these I can get a rough idea of the style you like, advise on what sizes you'd be likely to require and provide a rough price range.

If you'd like to try some samples before committing, sample boxes are available every few months to pre-order through my website. These include 6 pre-selected yummy flavours, sugar cookies and homemade treats

Once you're happy to book, I will send over a booking confirmation and request for £100 booking fee. This officially books you in my diary and you can tick CAKE off your list.

Around 6-9months before your wedding date, we meet up for your design consultation. An hour long private appointment where we sit together and pull together all your inspiration pics, and create YOUR dream cake

You will receive a complimentary sample box to take away and try at home.

I ask for your final flavour confirmation, design lock-in and balances due 4 weeks before your wedding. The rest is in my hands!

Its still January...right?? 🤣🤭

I'd love to say "its been a crazy busy start to 2026 in the Sprinkles kitchen"...but I'd be lying! The truth is, I'm just back from 10 glorious days in Spain, with a cheeky wee trip to Porto thrown in.🥰

So really....THIS week is the start of Sprinkles 2026!

I've had a lovely loooong break, but ready to get back to the day job today and back in the kitchen!

Thanks to everyone who has submitted enquiry forms or messaged over the holidays, I appreciate your patience, and I will get the inbox cleared by tonight.

Its an admin-catch-up kinda day, so if you've got dates you'd like checked for cakey availability ...its a good time to do it!

Ditch the January diet and get some yummies in your life!

Sample boxes are back and will be available the weekend of 24th and 25th January.
These can be collected from Blantyre G72, or posted first class on Monday 26th.

They're the perfect way to "try before you buy" if you're considering who to make your Wedding Cake or your celebration cakes for the year.

Sample boxes are £20 for collection, £25 posted.
