🎂 A MESSAGE FOR MY AMAZING CLIENTS🧁

After 8 years of running Mrs B's I have made the decision to close the bakery. The last 18 months has pushed me to make this choice which I've been thinking of doing for a while.

But as one door closes another opens and I'm pleased to say I have moved onto a new path in my career and by running the bakery I would have never realised how much I love the business and finance side of things!

Thank you to all of my amazing clients who have supported my small business, you will never know how much every order has meant to me and my family.

An indulgent red velvet cake with a delicious cream cheese buttercream. Covered with mini meringues, macaroons, a white chocolate drip and freeze dried raspberries. Yum!

A Noah's Arc themed cake seemed fitting for such a big occasion.

A fully edible design including a deliciously constructed rice crispie, marshmallow and white chocolate arc.

This has got to be one of the most detailed and prettiest cakes I've ever made.

I was asked to design something that reflected the person it was being made for. They love flowers and taking photos of flowers.

My design included handmade flowers, a camera, an old film role and a hand painted flower meadow. I made a gorgeous sparkly 60 which really finished off the whole design. Who doesn't love a bit of sparkle ⭐

I have been lucky enough to be asked to make Layla's birthday cake since she turned 4.

This year the theme was Tangled. This meant lots of flowers, purple and long golden locks.

I was really excited to make this cake. I was asked to make a cake with some sort of shooting theme.

This was the end result. A delicious lemon 🍋 sponge, with hand painted countryside scene, edible shooting equipment and a personalised cake topper.

We are finally back in the kitchen with extra measures to keep us and our clients safe!

These 21st birthday cupcakes were a great first order. A classic vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and a suprise raspberry compote inside...yum!

So this should be our first week of wedding cake madness but like everything else in our lives they have been postponed for the time being.

Remember, this is not forever just for now. Enjoy some time to reflect, relax, and unwind before we all return back to the planning and chaos of normal life.
