Easter treats 🐣🐣🌼🌼 I made these delicious Easter treats this week for my children’s teachers. One was my Creme egg rocky road filled with mini creme eggs, marshmallows, biscuit and lots of chocolate. The other rocky road was filled with mini eggs and topped off with more mini eggs 🪺🪺 I can’t decide which was my favourite! 😋

Happy New Year everyone! 🍾 our new year always starts with a cake and this year was Octonauts theme! 🐙🐳🐠 This cake was 6 inch, 3 layers of sponge decorated with hand made fondant decorations, ombré 3 colours of blue icing, left rugged at the top for a wave like effect 🥳🥳

Mario party! ⭐️⭐️ I wanted to post some photos of the cake I made for my son’s birthday at the weekend. It’s tradition that I make rainbow cakes for birthdays so I made a 6 layer rainbow cake and decorated in mario colours with handmade fondant stars and coins. The end result was a huge cake! The photos do not do justice to how tall this was 😂 but luckily I have lots of family that enjoy cakes so none of it is going to waste 😋

Minecraft party! 🎮🎮 This weekend I made my first ever cupcake birthday cake. It’s a great way to have a birthday cake without the hassle of having to cut up slices as each child gets their own cupcake to take away! This cake was made of two shades of green grass like icing with a fondant creeper face! I also made personalised sweet bags

Sweets, sweets and sweets! 🍬🍬🍭Been so busy with parties this weekend we’ve not had the chance to share what has been made! So here we are…first was some cute little pink themed and blue themed cones with delicious coloured sweets. Spidey and friends cake! 🦸‍♂️ I made this dairy free cake this weekend for a little boys 4th birthday and it was epic! 4 layers of vanilla sponge filled with vegan buttercream and raspberry jam, decorated with superhero blue and red vegan buttercream. I also made party food boxes through my other business which looked so lovely with the cake 🎈message to book your party date in the diary!

Blue cakes for a Tottenham themed birthday ⚽️ I had free rein to create some cupcakes for a football supporter’s birthday. These cakes were vanilla sponge filled with jam and topped with navy vanilla icing. I had a few left over and I can vouch for the fact that they tasted delicious! 😋

Then on Sunday I made some delicious chocolate sponge minecraft cupcakes. My kitchen was full of Sunday morning sunshine which made the buttercream pretty tricky but I was really pleased with them. I also put my hat on for some minecraft sweet bags 🍭🍬✅ I hope the boys enjoyed them at their party! 🥳

Busy busy! 🐝🐝 Phew what a busy weekend of baking it was for Crystal Cakes! I’ve had a couple of weeks while the mixer put its feet up but I was well and truly back with my cakes this weekend! First up was a lovely tall superhero cake for a local nursery graduation party and some superhero themed cupcakes. All the sponges were vanilla and the cake was filled with delicious buttercream and jam 😋 Hope the children enjoyed their party!! 🥳🦸‍♂️🦹‍♀️ Topper made by

Thank you cupcakes 🤩 it’s that time of year when we want to say thank you to all the lovely teachers and school staff who have looked after our children so well all year.
