‘Cakes & Catering’ was founded by cousins and close friends, Linda Williams and Janet Brymer. The company’s success has its roots in the partnership of its founding members; Janet joined Linda at her farm to lend a hand after the birth of Linda’s third child, and became a lifelong friend of the family, later becoming the new baby’s Godmother. Janet has a wealth of experience in catering, having wo

rked for local restaurants and catering companies for many years. Janet was inspired some years ago by a compliment from a chef and then-colleage, who encouraged her to venture out on her own. However, with two small
children at home, the time wasn’t right. Now, with her children grown up, Janet has joined up with Linda to realise her ambition. Linda successfully runs ‘Sugar Designs’, making and decorating bespoke wedding and occasion cakes. With 20 years of experience in the business, Linda thrives on a challenge and has supplied some very unusual cakes over the years. Both Linda and Janet have provided cakes for the highly successful Buttley Tea Rooms. With Janet’s catering know-how and Linda’s love of baking, it was only a matter of time before they pooled their considerable talent and ‘Fine China Catering’ was born. One thing that sets ‘Fine China Catering’ above the rest is their extensive collection of beautiful bone china. Each set has been hand-picked to Linda and Janet’s exacting standards to ensure that they bring elegance to every event. Today, ‘Fine China Catering’ caters for occasions both in Herefordshire and farther afield, and their services range from taking care of all catering to providing just their beautiful bone china.
