Find out more about how to fund your business..

Let's be honest, working out how to fund your business can feel like one of the most daunting parts of running one.

There is a lot of information out there and it is not always easy to know where to start or which options are actually available to you.

So we've put together a plain-English guide to some of the finance options available to businesses across Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin — from government-backed Start Up Loans to innovation grants, equity finance and the Midlands Engine Investment Fund II.

It doesn't cover everything but it is a good starting point. 👉

Herefordshire Council is inviting views on the Herefordshire Parking Strategy (2026–2041).

The Parking Strategy will shape how parking is managed across Herefordshire over the long term – supporting thriving town centres, local businesses, residents, visitors and essential services.

It covers key themes including town centre parking, residents’ and visitor parking, accessibility and disabled parking provision, school safety, deliveries and freight, and how technology may shape future parking systems.

Views are being sought from residents, businesses and organisations to help ensure the strategy reflects real needs and works for the people and communities who live, work and travel across the county.

Consultation is open until 03 June 2026.
