Just a quick message to make everyone aware of something you may already have heard, or may hear about soon. A person was recently banned from the lake, and I've heard comments that our lake is "rubbish," doesn't hold big enough fish, and other similar remarks. For clarity, the ban, this person left the rods fishing while went to the shop for over an hour and a half. This is against our rules and is something that would result in a ban at most well-run fisheries across the country. There is no excuse for this 👌I don't particularly care what is being said about me or the fishery. What I do care about is protecting our fish, maintaining standards, and looking after the many good customers who follow the rules and support the lake. I run this fishery in a way that I believe is fair, safe, and in the best interests of everyone who fishes here. If some people are unhappy with that, they are of course free to fish elsewhere—there are plenty of lakes across the country to choose from. I simply wanted to make everyone aware of the facts in case you hear any rumours or misleading stories.Thank you to all our anglers who continue to respect the rules and support the fishery.
Kind regards,
Cesário Martinho
