Happy Friday folks! You’ll find us at Kings Langley Market this Saturday from 09:00 in the church garden and in Old Amersham from 10:00 on Sunday. Check our stories for the menu.
It’s been painfully hot in the bakery this week and we’ve worked hard to bring you the products we know you love but something had to give, so there will be no bread on Saturday. We’ll be making some for Sunday though, fear not!

Just a quick thank you to everyone who reached out after our last post. Today was unexpected…in that we were hoping for a stonker and had a stinker. These things happen. What is always joyful is the people that reach out and help. You’ll be pleased to hear that almost every pastry has found a home. We are grateful for you all.

The harsh reality of trading as a small business - we have one hour left and this is what we have left. It started well and then fell off a cliff for some reason.
Thankfully these moments are rare but today could be one of the worst for food waste. 😔
To try and reduce the impact, you can grab 2 items for £5 and we’ll be there until approx. 3pm. Come grab a bargain.

Thank you for coming to find us this weekend in Kings Langley or Old Amersham (or both!). You cleared us out both days which we are extremely grateful for because we made ALOT of food! It alway feels like quite a gamble when you have literally no idea who’s going to come along and the weather reports are changeable.
Behind the scenes, our freezer finally got fixed which made life a lot easier and we pushed ourselves to do our biggest bread bake on Sunday which I was pretty chuffed with - I’m still re-learning everything from baking school which has been pretty humbling. The journey continues!
We don’t have any events this weekend which means a slightly slower paced week for us (though not for Steve who is off to climb Scarfell Pike).
I’m just waiting for confirmation of a slightly more local location for the following week. Watch this space you beautiful lot! See you soon. X

Hey folks.
The time has come for us to say goodbye to our spot at St Albans farmers market every second Sunday.
We have tried to make it work there but the reality is; it’s a very competitive place to be now that the market has been extended into a general market and we just cannot get it to a point where the sales make it worthwhile.
We’re so sorry this is the case but it’s time to be honest and focus our efforts elsewhere. We hope you understand.
To the customers that came to visit us regularly, we appreciate you so much - thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and we hope to see you again sometime.
For now, you’ll still find us every second Sunday in Gerrards Cross and we hope to bring you a new location soon. X

Folks! We’ll be here for the Bank Holiday weekend (Sat to Mon). We can’t wait! We were at the Summer event last year and it was just fabulous, so we’re excited for the 2026 Spring instalment.

What a difference a week makes!

Last week - and I’m going to be honest here - was a total 💩 show and morale was low. The end of the Easter hols meant people were still away maybe, or not spending. I can see people thinking a lot more about how and when they spend. The struggle is real, we feel you.

BUT! This weekend you came out to play!! Thank you so much for coming to find us and for your continued support. It never goes unnoticed or unappreciated, I promise. X
