From my Cuckfield based kitchen I conjure freshly baked delicious cakes and treats to meet all your needs, plus run workshops where you can brush up on your skills or learn something new.

Halloween is just around the corner and now that I'm no longer baking or running workshops it's time to make sure you have the tools you need for your scary bakes!
I've put together some packs of cutters and embossers to get you started.
All have been used but are in great condition and great value.
If you're interested please drop me a message.

Pack 1 £7 - large pac man ghost, bat, pumpkin embosser, bone
Pack 2 £8.50 - large cauldron, small ghost, bone, bat, happy Halloween embosser
Pack 3 £7 - large spider, ghost embosser, bone, bat
Pack 4 £8.50 - bat, small cauldron, small pumpkin, bone, day of the dead mould
Pack 5 £8.50 - bat, bone, medium pac man ghost, pumpkin embosser, day of the dead mould
Pack 6 £6 - bat, large ghost, bone, teeny bats

It's been a very long time since I've posted about cake and I've pretty much had the year off from baking. It just doesn't feel like Christmas in the Dainty kitchen though. So I've made some puddings, and next week I'm making a few Christmas cakes.
A very limited number of both so you need to be quick.
Puddings are ready for collection. I've made a couple of gluten free, a couple of nut free. The rest are the normal suet free offering pimped with cranberries, stem ginger and soft apricots. 2lb pudding for £18.
The BLING Christmas cake (you know the one, hints of Tia Maria, chocolate and orange in a soft fruity cake with all that gold decoration will come in at £27.50). Drop into my DM's if you're interested.

Afternoon all, I hope you haven't fallen into the January doldrums after last months festivities

I'm hanging up my apron for 3 months and the Dainty Kitchen will be temporarily closed. There's a lot going on and I just need some extra bandwidth

I've a lot of stock so this Saturday I'm offering no frills

Finals week in the Bake-Off tent and I totally agree with the winner. So so happy for them.

Peeps, totally forgot to post last weeks kit of coconut and lime finaciers, sorry sorry sorry.

We've had an eclairs kit before so our last kit is lardy cake - was not surprised that only Dan had heard of it, Josh & Matty are way too young!!

Whoop whoop, it's time to book places on children's Christmas workshops.
I'm very very busy so can only fit in 2, sorry peeps! Despite this it's still 3 hours of making and baking Christmas eats and treats.
Workshops are running Sunday 3rd and Sunday 17th 09:30 through to 12:30. As always drinks and snacks provided.
Attendees must be 8yrs+, £30 per student - unfortunately discounts don't apply for returnees or siblings at Christmas.
Based in Cuckfield, the Dainty kitchen has a food hygiene rating of 5
Message now to secure places. These always go very quickly so I can only take firm bookings.

Party week on the Bake Off, love it!!

Whilst I know you all want a caterpillar cake as the next baking kit I've costed it out and it's at least £20, all those eggs, cream and butter.

This weeks baking kit is Paul's favourite sausage rolls. It's his recipe with caramelised red onions, and it's time to get our rough puff on! You CAN do it...
