Hello everyone 🥰 it's been a while..

We’re BACK OPEN THIS WEEK!

The Cake Shed has had a little refresh, the camera has been updated and everything is ready to go — I can’t wait to welcome you all back ❤️

After lots of thought over the past few weeks, I’ve decided to make a few small changes to how things will work going forward.

✨ WEBSITE ORDERS ✨
The website will open for orders as usual on Monday morning, with orders available to collect from Saturday morning onwards.

✨ CAKE SHED VISITS ✨
If you’d prefer to pop along to the Cake Shed over the weekend, payment will now be made using the card machine. All available products and their prices will be displayed clearly on the menu, so it should be nice and simple 😊
I’ll also post a little video showing you how it works, just in case anyone is unsure.
Cash payments will still be accepted too, however I will no longer be accepting payments via the QR code. Most importantly, all payments need to be made prior to leaving the cake shed!

Hopefully, these changes will help avoid any confusion around payments and pricing, while also making it much easier for me to keep track of stock and manage the Cake Shed efficiently.

Evening Everyone 🌟

After everything that's happened recently, along with the quieter weekends at the cake shed over the last couple of months, I've made the difficult decision to close for the rest of the summer holidays and reopen at the beginning of September.

This hasn't been an easy decision at all, but unfortunately I can't continue putting myself in a position where I'm losing money each week.

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has continued to support my little business. To those of you who visit almost every time I'm open (you know who you are 😉😂), your support genuinely means the world to me and I'm so grateful for every single one of you.

I really hope you all understand, and I can't wait to welcome you back in September with plenty of delicious treats! 🧁💛

Good Morning Everyone! ☀️

We will be open this weekend, but for pre-orders/website orders only.

As many of you know, the cake shed has always run on an honesty system. Unfortunately, I'm still missing the £19 from the last opening, and sadly this isn't the first time something like this has happened. 💔

As a small business, I simply can't afford to keep absorbing these losses. This is my only source of income, so I have to do what's best to protect my business and make sure I can continue baking for you all.

I know this may not be the news some of you were hoping for, and I truly appreciate your understanding and continued support. It means more than you know 🥰

❗️MISSING PAYMENTS❗️

Good evening everyone,

Unfortunately, I have to post about this again.

Today, I am missing £19.18. All of yesterday's payments were checked and accounted for, so this relates to someone who visited the cake shed today. I will be reviewing the footage this evening to confirm what happened.

The cake shed has always operated on an honesty system, which I know the vast majority of you respect and support. Sadly, this isn't the first time this has happened, and incidents like this make it increasingly difficult for me to continue running it this way.

If this continues, I will have no choice but to close the self-service cake shed and move to website orders and collections only.

To everyone who supports my small business honestly and pays for their purchases—thank you. Your kindness and trust mean everything, and I truly appreciate every single one of you. 💛
